Photos of the Churchbass event, Bassapalooza 2001! 

Churchbass is a worldwide email discussion group for those interested in playing bass (electric and/or acoustic) in church and worship environments.  This year, Bassapalooza 2001 was held April 27-28th, in Plano, Texas!  People from all over the United States flew or drove in for the event to enjoy the food, fun and fellowship.  For many, this was the first time to meet face-to-face after months, if not years, of only communicating by email.

Of course, there was the food!

Of course, we spent a lot of time yakking it up, sharing stories and admiring each other's gear!  For some unknown reason, I didn't take any photos of the basses this year!?!  (Watts bass!  Watts bass!  Watts bass!)

In 1999, we had a local Dallas/Ft. Worth Churchbass gathering.  Here are photos of that event!
