The conference was held at the Wycliffe Centre in Horsleys Green, in the beautiful English countryside.  Unfortunately, with the Foot and Mouth disease outbreak, all the hiking trails had to be closed.  We were so busy with the conference, we never got to see London!

On the weekend, we did get to visit Warwick Castle!

That archer's story telling and performance was quite fun.  But the medieval tactic for archers was quantity over accuracy (rain down those arrows over a distance!).  So, Ray was a bit disappointed in the archer's demonstrated technique - can he hit the stacked bales of hay (multiple times), rather than hitting ONE SPOT on the hay (slowly, but accurately).  Oh well, different tactics for different times.
