Ray and Judy are members of Wycliffe Bible Translators USA.  Wycliffe's home offices are located in Orlando, Florida.  They are working at the SIL International headquarters in Dallas, Texas, on the campus of the International Linguistics Center.

Ray was born and raised in Hawaii. He graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He then moved to the southern California area, working for TRW (since merged into Northrop Grumman). Through TRW's fellowship program, Ray earned an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Having learned of Wycliffe Bible Translators when he attended Urbana '84, Ray had made serving with Wycliffe his goal after gaining industry experience. Ray joined Wycliffe in Dec. 1992, and started his assignment in Dallas, TX, in June, 1994. He currently does database programming, primarily in MS Access and MS SQL Server, as well as some user technical support. He has been a member of Wycliffe’s World Music Band. The band presents and performs music from around the world, demonstrating how various people groups worship God in their own musical systems and styles. He has also been a member of the National College Mobilization Team – presenting Wycliffe to Christian colleges and seminaries, representing computers, engineering and ethnomusicology. He also has played bass guitar for the Dallas Center morning chapel worship team, and continues to operate/manage the Center’s sound systems.

Judy was born and raised in Maryland, graduating from Elizabethtown College in PA with a BS in Accounting. Being missions-minded for many years, Judy went on numerous short-term mission trips beginning in high school. After working as an accountant in both the non-profit and for-profit world, she joined Wycliffe in 1993, hoping to do language survey work in Malaysia. After getting sick in the Philippines during training, she returned to Dallas for treatment. While waiting for her health to stabilize, Judy put her accounting skills into action over the years serving as Accounting Specialty Recruiter, Accounting Personnel Coordinator, and International Audit Coordinator. She has also been a member of NCMT. In 1999 she led a team of college accounting majors to Brazil as part of Wycliffe’s Discovery program to do the Brazil branch audit.

Ray and Judy met at Wycliffe's Dallas Center, and they got married on February 19, 2000.

Missionary Duties:

Ray is part of a team of developers building an entirely new, web based, "enterprise-wide" system for managing all of Wycliffe's corporate data - job positions, people, finance, document management, data about languages (Ethnologue) - for starters, with many more areas to be added in time.

Judy is currently serving as the International Finance Training Coordinator for Wycliffe International and SIL International since June 2003.  She is responsible for facilitating the training of finance staff world-wide.  She also maintains finance policy and procedure manuals for both Wycliffe and SIL.
